Taos Day School’s creative minds were on full display during the 2nd Annual Project Convention held at Taos Pueblo Community Center.

While on a tour through the United States from Uganda, Dance of Hope stopped in Taos, New Mexico, on Sept. 18, 2023, and brought music, dancing and language to the Bureau of Indian Education-operated Taos Day School.

A day full of celebration at Taos Day School highlighted staff and educator accomplishments through the Bureau of Indian Education’s Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP).  The Taos School Board president summed up the significance of the moment.
