Welcome to Taos Day School! We are excited that your family is trusting us with your child’s education. We take pride in providing a nurturing and challenging learning environment for our students, and we believe that parents play a critical role in their child's academic success.
Below you will find some frequently asked questions regarding the enrollment process, as well as a list of requirements for parents to consider before enrollment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the age requirement for kindergarten enrollment?
In order to enroll in kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st of the current school year.
What documents are required for enrollment?
Parents will need to provide a birth certificate for their child, as well as proof of guardianship. Additionally, parents will need to provide their child's immunization records and any academic records (if applicable).
Is there a waiting list for enrollment?
We do not maintain a waiting list for enrollment, however due to competition for available spaces for Kindergarten, registration is not considered completed until all documents are submitted. All documents must be submitted within 30 days of the initial enrollment date.
Does Taos Day School offer after-school care?
Yes, we offer an after-school care program and a yearly summer camp for our students. For more information, please visit the After School & Summer Program web page.
