Taos Day School welcomes William “Bill” Crego as the newest team member in the role of information technology specialist. Crego arrives with a wealth of experience, boasting over 35 years in computer technology. His expertise is most notable in the CAD/CAM domain and with Microsoft systems, though his knowledge spans both hardware and software.

Originating from Wisconsin, Crego relocated to New Mexico from Loveland, Colorado, to join Taos Day School. His decision to apply was sparked by a BIE job posting for an IT specialist—a position he has embraced wholeheartedly, along with the students and the rich tapestry of Indigenous culture and history in the region.

Crego expressed his sentiments about joining the school: “The students and teachers are so welcoming, and Principal Haimowitz has been very helpful in getting me settled into my position here at Taos Day School,” Crego said. “Come visit Taos and see the beauty of the mountains, and the culture of the Taos Pueblo and meet the great people here. You will see why I have my dream job here.”

Welcome to Taos Day School, Mr. Crego!
