A student at Taos Day School practices horseback riding on a fake horse.

In August, Taos Day School held a Horse Camp for students and the community as part of its back-to-school activities. Students learned the basics of roping, practiced nailing horseshoes, pet horses and rode mock horses to experience how it feels to sit in a saddle. It was a fun day for students and staff, full of interactive activities and unique learning opportunities.
